There can be
no deception
when
I sum the angles of a triangle.
Subdivide, measure, combine
Subdividemeasurecombine.
Only by these means
can you perceive what is clear and distinct.
That the mind is of a certain method.
Without contradiction the world
forever separate
that subject and object
are disparate entities.
I am not you and you are not me.
Nor can we be of a kind.
I am “in here” and you are “out there”
(a tool, a possession, a victim).
That man may know
by his reason
alone.
